TerraExplorer for Web

SkylineGlobe Server includes TerraExplorer for Web (TE4W), a lightweight 3D GIS web viewer. See “What is TerraExplorer for Web (TE4W)” in the “Basic Concepts” chapter for more information.

The TE4W project is created in TerraExplorer Pro by publishing a project to SkylineGlobe Server. See “TerraExplorer Pro Elements Supported in TE4W” in this chapter for a list of supported elements.

TerraExplorer for Web can have custom configurations that define various elements of TE4W including which layers TE4W can connect to, website subdomains, screen overlay logo, copyright text, and search provider. These TE4W elements are configured in the TerraExplorer for Web Settings section of the Settings page. Multiple customized configurations can be set.

Certain project settings can be defined from the URL by appending the required parameters to the end of the URL. See “URL Parameters” in the “Customizing TerraExplorer for Web” chapter for more information.
