Software and Hardware Requirements (Master/Fuser Computer)

Operating System

Windows® 8 / 10 / 11 Windows® Server 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 – 64bit required.
Ubuntu 18.04 and Debian 10.0 – 64-bit required (Only for PhotoMesh fusers).

System Memory

16 GB RAM (32 GB recommended) per fuser. On a computer with 16 or more logical processors, 25 GB RAM is required per fuser.

Note:    RAM requirements are mostly affected by the reconstruction tile size and complexity. See "Setting Advanced Reconstruction Parameters" in the "Building" chapter for more information.

50 GB disk space or more per fuser is recommended for temporary files (%TEMP%) on each computer.

Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)

Dedicated or onboard GPU (dedicated recommended, especially when running multiple fusers on a single machine).

Processor

2 logical processors (8 recommended). PhotoMesh works best in a multi-core environment and can utilize multiple CPU’s and hyper-threaded processors.

In the latest PhotoMesh performance tests, using a single computer, 16 GB RAM and 8 logical processors, output was between 10-15 gigapixels/day, depending on the machine and resource availability.

Additional Software

.Net Framework 4.6.1 required.
