SkylineGlobe Server is a private cloud solution that provides a comprehensive set of web services for publishing, storing, managing and streaming 3D spatial data. Our solution offers the capability to stream all your spatial data types, including imagery, elevation, feature, 3D mesh, point cloud, project files and other resources. Through a single publishing operation, data is made ready for consumption by all TerraExplorer clients: Desktop, Web and Mobile, as well as other geospatial applications including Esri, QGIS and Cesium-based viewers.
We are excited to introduce broader server deployment options with Version 8.0, including SGS for Windows – Click and Go, and SGS for Linux. Other prominent features include Single Sign-On user authentication and the implementation of PostgreSQL open-source database as the primary catalog database for multi-computer setups. We’ve also added a new categories mechanism that enables users to effectively organize and access their layers and projects. The integration with TerraExplorer Fusion, our new web-based viewer, is another standout feature in the SkylineGlobe Server 8.0, and it includes a new set of configuration and customization options for your TerraExplorer Fusion application.
