Selecting a Polygon or Rectangle

The Polygons group in the Properties Sheet lists the polygons that are attached to layers in Edit mode.

There are two fields in the Polygons group:

§  List

§  Selected Polygon

In the List field you select which polygons are listed in the Selected Polygon drop-down list:

§  All Polygons in Edit Layers - The polygon list includes any polygon that applies to a layer in edit mode.

§  Common Polygons to Edit Layers - The polygon list includes only polygons that apply to all the layers in edit mode.

To select a polygon, do either of the following:

§  On the Properties Sheet, in the Polygons group, from the Selected Polygon list, select the required polygon.

Note:        The Selected Polygon drop-down list lists the polygons in the order they were created.

§  Click the border of a polygon that is attached to a layer in Edit mode (light green border).

All information about a selected polygon, such as operation type (Clip, Fill, Null Value) or direction of implementation (Outside Shape, Inside Shape) can be viewed and modified on the Polygon Edit tab.
