Note: Sources, which use a different coordinate system than the project in which they are included require reprojection (conversion) to the project's coordinate system. See "Coordinate System" in the "Terms and Definitions" chapter for more information.
Note: The coordinate system for a project is set or modified from the Project Settings dialog box. See “Coordinate System Dialog Box” in the “Project Management” chapter for more information.
Field |
Description |
Method |
From the drop-down list, select a method for reprojection: Sampling or Linear Interpolation. (If Linear Interpolation is selected, an additional Sub Sampling field is displayed.) |
Grid |
From the drop-down list, select the required Sampling grid, in pixels: 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, or 2. This determines the accuracy of the reprojection. Lower grid values yield more exact results, but take longer to reproject. |
Sub-Sampling |
If the Linear Interpolation method is selected, this field appears. From the drop-down list, select the required sub-sampling grid, in pixels: No Sub Sampling, 2, 3 or 4. |
Use Project’s Coordinate System |
When this check box is selected, TerraBuilder attributes the same coordinate system as the project’s to every source added to the project, so no reprojection is required. This makes it easy to add multiple sources whose coordinate system matches the project’s. |
