Removing a Layer from the Output File
You can remove a layer from the output file but keep it as part of the project for future use. The layer remains on the Layer List but is removed from the project’s output
To exclude the use of a layer in a project:
1. In the Layer List, select the required layer.
2. In the General group of the Properties Sheet, in the Use in Output field, select No to exclude the layer from the project output. The layer is excluded from the output file and a red X appears on this layer’s layer type icon in the Layer List.
Note: If a layer does not contain geographic information, it is by default not included in the project output. If you want to include it in the project output, select Yes in the Use in Output field.
