Attaching and Detaching Polygons

When polygons are created, they are automatically attached to all layers in Edit mode at the time. Polygons can be attached to other layers that were not in Edit mode when they were created, in order to perform the same polygon operation on multiple layers. Any changes made to the polygon in one layer will affect all the layers it is attached to.

Polygons are attached to other layers by using the Attach commands in the Layers group on the Polygon Edit tab. All Detach from Layer commands are also available from this group.
